HotPot Spot restaurants have become the latest TikTok phenomenon and now Wales has its own.

Originating in China, the dining experience showcases a pot of broth and selected meat and vegetables for the customer to cook and create their own authentic meal. 

The new HotPot Spot, located in the Roath area of Cardiff, is preparing for Chinese New Year by renovating their dining space and adding new cuisines to their menu. 

Owner Trystan Cook believes it is important to have Asian culture in Cardiff. He said: “Food is a very big gateway for other people to get to know other cultures.”
