University of South Wales students own music festival Immersed! Celebrates its fifth anniversary with the Immersed! 5th Birthday Awards on Friday 17th February, the show precedes the Immersed! Music festival at Tramshed and Immersed! TV on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The Immersed! Music festival may be the main attraction over the weekend, with four stages of musical talent such as Lady Lashurr, Banshi and Joe Kelly. Saturday also includes a diverse mix of activities, such as DJs, street food, live theatre, workshops, A tattoo parlour and an upcycled fashion market.
Immersed! TV concludes the weekend of festivities with an online live broadcast that features highlights from Saturday as well as exclusive interviews with artists and the premiere of an Immersed! Documentary called ‘5 Years’.
Lewis Snarney and Dan Stockholm, performers at the upcoming festival said: “This is out biggest performance that we’ve done and our biggest stage, so its gonna be super exciting. Its a good platform to showcase local talent, especially from the university and were really looking forward to having a good audience to play our songs to.”
