Over 100 supporters gathered in Newport to remember the life of Mouayed Bashir on the first anniversary of his death. Mouayed died on February, 17th, 2021 in hospital hours after he was restrained by Gwent police.

The crowd walked through the city accompanied by family and friends of Mouayed carrying a large banner reading ‘Justice for Mouayed Bashir.’
