Disability charity issues gig buddy plea after increased lockdown demand

Going to a concert is a great experience in itself, but having someone to go with makes it even better. That’s why a charity which supports adults with learning difficulties are looking for volunteers to join their team.

Gig Buddies, run by Learning Disability Wales, are a befriending scheme that matches people with a learning disabilities to a volunteer who shares the same interests, so they can go to gigs and events together.

But because of the coronavirus pandemic, the demand for a buddy is higher than ever.
