As Christmas approaches, the annual market arrives in true festive fashion, making its mark on Cardiff for the 31st year. It welcomes new sellers and also sees the return of regulars.
Ye Green Men is back this year. The company has been producing fused glass for more than a decade.
“You start doing one week here and one week there, and then before you know it, you’re doing the whole six weeks,” says Ye Green Men stallholder James Barker.
“It’s the market I look forward to the most each year. It’s wonderful.”
Meanwhile, Jack Wotton at Ed’s Fudge Kitchen is a newcomer.
“It’s my first time visiting Cardiff, selling fudge for Ed’s Fudge Kitchen. It’s been a really busy start, so we’ll probably be back next year,” says Jack.
More than 200 businesses are participating in the market this year, selling a wide range of handcrafted gifts, drinks and treats until 23rd December.
