Equality for Welsh International football teams

History has been made as the Welsh Football Association (FAW) announce equal pay for both men and women’s international football teams. This has come after the FAW pledged a fair pay agreement between both teams by 2026.

The Men’s squad will take a 25% pay cut in order for the women’s team to have a 25% pay rise. This agreement of equal pay is set to run until 2027, joining the likes of England, America and Norway in equal pay for their Women players.
