Bunny walks to jump all over

Words and images by Liv Davies

Bunny walks are not walks that involve rabbits, as you may first think. These are planned routes created by the Rhondda Cynon Taff/Llantrisant council and the Taff Ely Ramblers.

There are a variety of paths in and around Llantrisant, situated in the Rhondda Cynon Taff in Wales. Each path is marked with little signs that have a small yellow bunny rabbit on.

There is also a YouTube channel that allows walkers to watch the route on their phones. This is really useful, as sometimes reading a map can get confusing; these are fool proof walking routes!

Bunny walks really encourage people to get out and about walking. Walking is great for our mental and physical health, so making it easily accessible through the means of YouTube and sign posts is beneficial.

The bunny walk pictured in these images is a walk around an Iron Age hill fort in Rhiwseason. You can view the bunny walk on the video below.
