On March 23rd, 2020, the Prime minister, Boris Johnson, announced a national lockdown which meant all non-essential businesses, schools and universities had to close their doors immediately. It left the country in panic as many were left to make rapid decisions on what the best cause of action is to keep businesses and education going. Universities had to figure out ways to teach thousands of their students to the best of their ability, whilst following government guidelines. Since the announcement of the lockdown restrictions students were urged to travel back to their family homes for the rest of the academic year as all teaching was changed to online, via video calls and zoom.
