Thousands of pounds worth of goods stolen from Cardiff store

A burglar has stolen thousands of pounds worth of goods from TK Maxx in Cardiff city centre after forcing his way in early this morning.

An anonymous store assistant said the thief made off with a haul of jewellery.

The shopfront in the Hayes shows no signs of damage.

A TK Maxx spokesperson confirmed the burglary, saying “At approximately 6am on Monday 24th February, a man forced his way into the doors at the TK Maxx store.

“The man made off on a bike towards Westgate Street.

“An investigation into the burglary is now underway.”
