BA Illustration art fair hits the Atrium campus

Valentine’s Day has come to USW as hearts and flowers flood the University of South Wales’ Cardiff campus as illustration students across the university have worked together to create a seasonal art fair for the occasion.

Students will be selling a variety of Valentine’s Day cards and gifts both handmade and digitally as well as their unrelated personal work. From digital prints to miniature clay sculptures, the stalls full of gifts for anyone and everyone. Cat Williams, a second year illustration student was one of the multiple students selling her work at the fair. She said: “It’s selling prints from all across the three year groups. Some it is Valentine’s Day themed some of them are just general prints”.

The fair has been dubbed “Cwtch” in relation to it’s Valentine’s Day theme and will take place in the reception of the Atrium from 10am today and will run until 3pm on Thursday, the 9th of February.
