A weather warning for snow and ice remains in place for Wales as snow showers are forecast for several areas again on Thursday. Temperatures remain low with poor driving conditions expected and several roads are still closed.

Schools closed in the Llynfi Valley where it experienced it’s first snow day of the year. Pictured are Chloee Marie Powell Hughes and her two daughters Myah, 7 and Ayliah, 5 enjoying the snow. Myah, 7 said that the “snow is the best thing ever because we don’t have to go to school and get to build snowmen and have snowball fights.”
