Dog owners in Cardiff are urging people to keep their dogs on leads in public spaces.

Some owners are partiularly worried about the behavour of other dogs when they’re not on leash in the park, they fear that their dogs are under threat.

However, Cardiff Council have a Control Dog Order in some areas in Cardiff where dogs have to be on leash at all times and can also be asked by a police officer. Top dog walker destination, Bute Park, has various owners with different opinions on whether their dog should be on a leash or not.

The disagreement divides the dog walker community and always a hot topic in social media groups.
