Young Lives vs Cancer

Written by Jorja Kyei

The UK based charity Young Lives vs Cancer were raising money for donations outside of Cardiff Central Station on Thursday.

Volunteers were speaking to members of the public in hope that they would donate towards the charity.

Tara Spriggs, who works with the charity, says that ‘Young Lives vs Cancer can support 8 children that get diagnosed every day in the UK with cancer’.

The charity says that there are 12 children that get diagnosed with cancer in the UK every day. Tara believes that if people can ‘spare a couple of pounds from their weekly shop, we can raise the money for those extra four children’.
