Bruno Pinho, the owner of the shop, moved to Wales almost two decades ago. He developed his baking skills and recipes in his hometown, Porto. He brought these to the UK, where he hoped to introduce a bit of his culture to a wider customer base.
Bruno’s signature pastéis de nata became famous when award-winning chef and food journalist, Nigel Slater featured his recipe on BBC’s Eating Together programme.
