The Rams traveled to Cardiff City Football Stadium last night to face Cardiff City in a Championship. Derby County currently in the relegation battle after receiving a reduction of nine point at the beginning of the season due to breaches of the EFL’s profitability and sustainability rules. Sitting twenty third in the league and twenty one point away from securing a place in The Championship 2022 – 2023.

After 85 minutes of a stale mate between Cardiff City and Derby County, Uche Ikpeazu shot towards The Rams goal converted into a goal. Resulting in a Cardiff City victory and another three point to make the gap between them and relegation wider. Leaving Derby at the bottom of the table and facing a drop down to EFL League One.
