Storms rip through South Wales

18th of February 2022, Cardiff, Junction 37 M4 Motorway, South Galmorgan, United Kingdom Storm Eunice alert on the M4 Motorway as the red weather warning was issued for Wales. M4 was closed near the Junction 37 due to two lorries blown over by the wind caused by storm Eunice.

The met office issued a red weather warning today with a series of violent storms raging through most of the UK, including South Wales.

Storm Eunice is expected to caused damage to property and potentially be a risk to life. People are being urged to stay indoors if possible.

Storm Eunice is causing havoc for those needing to travel, with the M4 closed near Junction 37 closed due to two lorries that succumbed to the powerful winds.

Extreme weather like this will only become worse and more frequent across the world if people continue to fail to recognise the climate crisis and the fact we need to change now.
