The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity played Cardiff for the first time on Sunday (30th). The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is one of the biggest charity organisations in Poland, since it began in 1993 its music festivals have raised millions of pounds to buy equipment for the Polish health care system.
This annual event is organised by volunteers in cities across Poland and around the world, with hundreds of bands playing for free. This year’s theme was ‘See the light’ and was raising money specifically for the diagnosis and treatment of eyesight issues in children.
The Cardiff event was based at The Moon on Womanby St and crowds enjoyed live music, spoken word and amazing Polish vegan cuisine.
