Cardiff Castle has finally reopened for the public to enjoy. Visitors were unable to visit since Christmas due to ‘essential maintenance’ taking place on the castle.
Cardiff Castle is one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions, boasting a lush lawn in the court yard with surrounding fairy style turrets on each wall corner. The castle hosts over 2,000 years of history and combines a medieval castle and Victorian Gothic revival mansion. Located in Cardiff city centre the castle attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the world every year.
