
Cardiff University Roundnet Society completed a 24 hour Roundnet match yesterday in aid of the Children’s Hospice Southwest. Roundnet, or Spikeball as its sometimes known, is a net sport primarily inspired by volleyball. Played by four players in teams of two, the sport was created in 1989 and is currently experiencing a revival in the UK. By the end of the 24 hours the CU Roundnet team had raised a total of £676.99 for the hospice.
